Pi Kappa Alpha has partnered with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to publish the 2012 edition of its official alumni directory, the Pi Kappa Alpha Register.
Please know that this is an official partnership with a trusted vendor, PCI. Pi Kappa Alpha understands that you might not want to provide your information to just anyone, so please know that the request from PCI is being made on behalf of the Fraternity.
Mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, employment information all need to be updated for the next official alumni directory. The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity is partnering with PCI to publish the directory and CD to document these changes and provide alumni an opportunity to stay better connected with fellow alumni.
Pi Kappa Alpha’s membership directory dates back to the infancy of the Fraternity. Membership records have been kept since the beginning of the Alpha Chapter, when the first official record of members was a hand written list that was produced as the Index in 1886. The first publication of this list was produced in 1916 and was called the Register. The preface of this book notes it was specifically designed to help chapters keep in touch with their alumni. Over the years, the list has seen breaks in publication and has assumed different names. The most recent publications occurred in 1981, ‘87, ’96, 2002, and ’06. With the 2012 edition of the directory, it will be returning to the roots of the first publication and officially assume the name The Pi Kappa Alpha Register.
When you receive your information from PCI on behalf of Pi Kappa Alpha, please answer the call and update your records!
